LianTong Hot relaxes muscles and tendons and warms intensively with an extract of select Chinese herbs, camphor and the warming agent vanillyl butyl ether.

LianTong Hot is just right for muscle and tendon tension accompanied by sensations of cold and tension that worsens in wet, cold weather. Ideal for warming and loosening the lower back, neck and shoulders and promoting flexibility.

If Qi and Xue are weakened, various factors, such as wind, cold, and dampness can enter the body causing Qi and Xue stasis. As the cold and dampness in the body reach deeper layers, they block the free flow of Qi and fluids. LianTong Hot promotes the flow of Qi and Xue, relaxes, loosens and warms. Ideal when feeling cold, especially when the symptoms get worse in wet and cold weather.

In order to dispel cold and dampness, hot and acrid gan jiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma) and hua jiao (Zanthoxyli Pericarpium) are used. The warm and acrid xiao hui xiang (Foeniculi Fructus) has a supportive effect. hai feng teng (Piperis Kadsurae Caulis), du huo (Angelicae Pubescentis Radix), qiang huo (Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix), wei ling xian (Clematidis Radix) and ji xue cao (Centellae Herba) warm the channels and dispel wind and dampness. ji xue cao relaxes and loosens. hong hua (Carthami Flos), tao ren (Persicae Semen), mo yao (Myrrha) and ru xiang (Olibanum) activate the xue. Aromatically hot zhang nao (Camphora) strongly opens the channels and dispels cold. A little vanillyl butyl ether stimulates skin circulation and increases heat sensitivity. In comparison to other warming substances, it is less likely to irritate the skin and is generally well tolerated.

Application
