Description

As the days become shorter and windy, cold weather arrives, warming and slighty acrid teas are important for support and protection against the weather. If the wei Qi of the skin surface is strong, external evils, such as wind - either hot or cold, can not easily penetrate. Huang qi (Astragali Radix), tai zhi shen (Pseudostellariae Radix) and gan cao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) strengthen the wei Qi. Gui zhi (Cinnamomi Ramulus) and fang feng (Saposhnikoviae Radix) expel wind from the exterior, ban lan gen (Isatidis Radix), lian qiao (Forsythiae Fructus) and jin yin hua (Lonicerae Japonicae Flos) clear heat. This tea has a refined, light flavour. LIAN herbal teas are not recommended during pregnancy.
